On November 8^th, 2011, Kande International Hotel (Huizhou) and Institute of Huizhou held a signing ceremony of overall cooperation in conference center of Kande hotel. Hotel’s General Manger, William Tang, Manager of Human Resource Apartment Shen Jie and representatives of all other apartments as well as deputy secretary of Travel Department of Institute of Huizhou Jin Wei, Dean of Travel Apartment Li Jiangshan, Li Cun and other institute’s representatives attended the signing ceremony.

By report, the signing of the overall cooperation agreement meant that in the future both parties will strengthen their communication, develop more chances to cooperate, set up a interflow model between professors, students from the institute and experts, employees from the hotel, and to foster practical and knowledgeable people of talents. Cooperation between the two parties has upgraded to a deeper level of combination of production and education and thus will provide a platform

 of more internship chances to students at school. Through the combination of theory and practice, students can master basic theory of hotel management and practical skills. Meanwhile, employees of Kande can utilize spare time to continue their further study towards diploma or degrees, thus improve their own competency and ability as well as broaden their vision.

General Manager of Kande International Hotel (Huizhou), William Tang showed his thankfulness towards support from Institute of Huizhou and considered people of talents as key competitive advantage in modern society. As the hotel just passed the five-star verification and faced up to a strategic transformation, Tang wished more talented employees to join the team. Through the signing of the overall cooperation agreement, Tang hoped that further cooperation in each aspect could be taken, a creative model of talented people training system could be set up and quality of the employees could be lifted up.

Dean of Travel Apartment of Institute of Huizhou Li Jiangshan showed his great confidence towards Kande (Huizhou) for its leading role in the Huizhou Hotel Industry and hoped that their students’ vision could be broadened; more jobs could be offered and professional skills could be improved through the cooperation with Kande (Huizhou). Since the beginning of the cooperating project signed by Kande and the Institute in 2009, more chances of social practice have been provided among students at school and graduates, which has fostered lots of practical people of talents.

The Institute of Huizhou is the only Institute that provides Bachelor Degrees in the Huizhou Area and gets approve from the Bureau of Education on March, 2000. There are 31 programs, 5617 full-time students and 3200 students of adult continuing education. During the practice, the school insists on providing training to all kinds of advanced skill workers as well as middle school teachers, explore different financing channels, and promote combination of production and research. The signing of the agreement between Kande and the institute will certainly promote the close combination between education of hotel management and modern hotel operating standard, and improve students’ knowledge of hotel management ability of social practice, thus realize winning situation from all parties.
